I'm a Luddite. 99% of my phone usage is listening to music or podcasts. I love the Signal app because I can type text messages on my desktop and not mess with that asshole keyboard and it's tyrannical auto correct.
This represents me so well that I don’t even know how to react. I got into tech because it was fun and liberating. Now it’s asphyxiating and I want to get away from it. But it’s my career.
Look into manufacturing opportunities. There’s a strong amount of crossover if you find something reasonably technical and that industry hasn’t been entirely enveloped by AI yet.
Machining especially if you’re able can be very rewarding and distances you from the direct customer. (Almost always contract work)

Have a literal dictionary of text replacement to fight back against it...
