I've been seeing these mod videos on my YouTube recommendeds recently and it's gone from "oh hey that's a cool idea" to "oh shit this is actually playable now" to now where its practically a different game entirely. I mean just LOOK at the base game
it's called project viewpoint and is definitely worth checking out
It's like what I imagine watching the team fortress mod being made was like but even cooler

I have a character right now that's been alive for 2 months and I've gone deep down the rabbit hole that is the blacksmithing skill. I'm a little paranoid that I'll corrupt the save or fuck something up somehow if I start messing around with mods, but I plan on trying this mod as soon as that guy dies!
Same, I have an old character that's been a long play. Once he dies of old age (or, more likely, my screwup) I'm going to give this a try! Looks amazing!
make copies of the save, make a copy of the games install, load mods on the copy and leave the original intact.
just be sure to load the exe for the copy of the game and not the game itself.
