Never allow someone to make you feel bad for just doing what you gotta do. Have no shame when you choose to love yourself.
We've all seen the stories a person with a drinking habit who finally gets clean, turns back and does something awful once they start drinking again orba person who was a teetotaler before chooses to sociallly drink because 'thats' what everyone else was doimg so I jad to following along...
We gotta stop stories like this from occurring to us and to others.
If you have to quit drinking forever cause you know its had too harsh of an impact on your life and the life of your loved ones? No shame in that. And thank you for admitting that you have a problem and taking steps to t ackle that problem π«

Hail yourself!
I never liked drinking. I have always thought alcohol tastes terrible. Any time I drank was always where I felt I had to to fit in with my peers.
I never had a bad problem, but I had a few wild nights and for my health I decided to stop altogether. When people ask about it, which is rare, I just say I don't drink anymore, and typically the questions end there.
I wish it was that easy for everyone, but I know some social groups rely heavily on drinking culture and I hope younger people continue to grow away from that framework. You don't need a drink to enjoy your night, or time with friends.
Thank you for choosing to loving yourself π₯Ίπ« . Proud of you.
