I'm baffled that this isn't every answer in the thread.

Not really a word, but the cake scene from Matilda came to mind.

Ah, I didn't skim your comment hard enough before I posted, oh well.

That was my first thought. I didn't know that thought was illegal (downvote) 😂

Is OP your own alt account? Why would you change account to comment?

Or is it an imposter?

Also: that's what she said

There's like a 10% chance she'll respond. I love LadyB's content, but her conversation engagement rate is oof.

But that's just how gods are. To be even graced by her attention is enough to set off butterflies in your stomach

that's not true - too many of us just lurk and expect to be entertained. LadyB actually posts to spur engagement, and her content isn't divisive or pushing any agenda other than a little bit of positivity in this dark and angry world.

I value her posts immensely

more than welcome, I like to think that positivity is infectious and I try to pass it on throughout my day

So by “carry” you mean “constantly posts” even if those posts are straight sloppy noise?

Is it worth having a single account “carry” your community via the lowest hanging fruit of posts and straight sloppy content that belongs in a greeting card?

You’ve been doing that from the beginning and the Lemmy community has suffered ever since. You should stop.

Needs a lot of whipped cream to compensate for the heavy dark chocolate, I would also recommend some icing sugar on top to brighten the flavor.

vanilla ice cream. and lots of it. some milk, too.

Yeah, that would absolutely brighten the flavor

It has to be two words, for which I apologise, but "No thanks". I don't have much of a sweet tooth and this looks like it'll be wasted on me.

Gooey, although I'm wondering what that glass thing is in the background.

Bottom of a fancy Stella glass? I think that's the shape of the stems?

kinda looks like a steak or maybe something slow cooked

Devil's food cake

Edit: This lacks the reddish mahogany color created by baking soda, this is likely made with Dutch process cocoa.

We actually baked a chocolate cake once with what seemed like way too much vegetable oil, but it was actually incredible. I decorated it with a fondant forg, but sadly the forg ended up inside the cake when we drove it home in a heatwave.

Messy... hope there is a fork and napkin nearby.
