I got myself an aeropress, because it was on sale in a café I was at. It is exactly how I imagined it to be and very easy and quick to brew with. The coffee tastes good out of it
My wife and I were talking about getting one last night. We have too many coffee gadgets to play with still I think but we’ll probably pick one up the next time we do a weekend trip. Hopefully we’ll do one this autumn.
It's nice for making good coffee in a short amount of time. Not as much work as pour over or espressi
It might be good for my morning coffee too then. Right now I’m doing both espresso and pour over in the morning while also trying to make breakfast and get my daughter ready for daycare. It’s fun, but a lot sometimes. Especially at 4:30am. I was considering moving to French press for the mornings, but I might also consider AeroPress now too.
Aeropress is the superior alternative out of those two.
I’ll have to give it a try then. Maybe I’ll gift one to my wife for Christmas. She’s just as into coffee as I am so I’m sure she’d be excited to try it. She’s wanted one for a while now.
I think I am going to start a coffee subscription. I like to brew better coffee at home on the weekends than I do at the office on the daily.

That is roughly $36 for two 250g bags of coffee.
I’ve considered getting a subscription before. I probably will get one at some point but I want to explore a bunch of different roasters first before I commit to that.
Alma negra process. Usually buy local, but dabble with interesting light roasts from around the country occasionally. This is from Massachusetts and really good. Easy to brew / forgiving and cassis wasn't on my SCA flavor wheel and I had to look up what it was, but I consistently got a nice blackberry hit up front from this.
