A while back, I attended a photography event at a wonderful rehab center called Back To The Wild in Castalia, Ohio. They were kind enough to share their beautiful birds with us, including this adorable little saw -whet owl. She's about the size of a robin and weighs just about 3 oz. Unable to be released back into the wild due to an injury, she now fills an important role as an animal ambassador.
