Interesting read. I didn't know long COVID was so pervasive.
It's frustrating to think about how things could be better if we had a competent government.
Trump administration does not want to acknowledge long COVID even exists. They refuse to fund any research on COVID.
Scientists can't work tirelessly without grant funding. They can't work at all. These feel good articles are misleading and ignoring that $0 will be spent on COVID, or any virus research since 2025 and the defunding of the NIH.
I wonder what the overlap between long covid patients and metabolic impairment is?
its called sequalae, for the terminology, many viruses can cost post viral symptoms. like a systemic rash that cant be explain or even trigger autoimmune or heart issues. covid is such a new virus to the human population it would cause more systemic symptoms than another common virus.
