Loosely related but came accross this in the wild two days ago, and the second part genuienly made me question if I am missing something.

They put "transgender" as its own, seperate gender identity.

So like if I had put in biological sex as "male" would I put my gender as woman or transgender?

(Please correct me if wrong on that)

As someone who makes user surveys occasionally, this is 100% from a manager who insisted on having a ‘trans’ option, but wouldn’t listen to anyone trying to explain why it’s stupid.

Ah, I get it now. You're right, that is a silly way to put things. It would make sense if it was a "select multiple" situation, but as an exclusive option it's kinda awkward. I've never met anyone who was only "transgender."
