Yes, but only tells you that after you have already put in your email, name and security question.

After you put in your phone number it requires a valid credit card for "verification only"

I miss when the web was mostly HTML with the occasional picture. JavaScript was a mistake.

On the one hand, using OIDC means that you don't need to have a password for every site any more, and can have a single trusted third party handling authentication, and who can handle all the best practices and MFAA rather than leaving it to the individual sites where it's not their core competencies.

On the other hand, fuck all these third parties, who will be rubbing their hands with glee being able to track all the sites that you've logged in to. Need to get a bit more 'open' into 'OpenID'.

Does anybody else miss BugMeNot? It used to solve this problem, and then websites caught on and started banning it.

Literally have several ublock origin rules specifically to get rid of all of the stupid popups asking to sign in everywhere. I want the site content, not your fucking spyware popups!
