Looks like Trump, actually i don't want to say Trump because what he has been and is doing need to have supporters and enablers - US administration, politicians and companies want to go all in Hitler and third reich

We should have expelled hoekstra here in Canada last year.

Iceland’s economy is mostly aluminum exports and US tourism though, so I’m curious how this plays out.

Well the EU is putting a lot of money behind Greenland now, they will be going after the minerals up north.

Good! Statesmanship and diplomacy are dead in the new usa so why have any ambassadors there at all!

for what?

we have a US ambassador in my country and he's an ass

3

To explain what exactly the American government means by this. That is, in theory, what ambassadors are for.

Is fish still more important than joining the EU?

3

Thanks for the context. I forgot not everybody follows EU news.

The only conflict the island has had (and im not including being used as a supply/landing station in WW2) since the vikings were burninating the country side was to antagonize british fishing ships.

He can post what he likes [EDIT As in, nobody gives a fuck because], nobody takes him seriously (except Google and Apple Maps). The fact is, he's a dickhead, and once he's gone, and real leaders return, everything he's ever done will be erased.

Hell, the US could solve their debt by charging willing participants $5 per swing of a sledgehammer to any of his 'monuments'. That and seizing all Trump and Trump family assets and selling them to accumulate a 'repair' chest.

Edit: Don't read too much into it. I was talking about all the shit he (had) built to his own ego (like what he did to the White House), and the things his attempts to 'make better' fucked up, like the reflecting pool.

The fuck it will. The united snakes have lost so much trust internationally, it will take generations to rebuild it - if it ever is rebuilt at all.

The fact is, he's a dickhead, and once he's gone

that's not true, Trump isn't the problem, he's the symptom, there's something rotten in the US. This stench will preserver.

The US isn't like it is because of Trump, Trump is how he is because of the US

It was not undone the first time it won't be undone this time. And you just can't undo allies losing trust in you.

I have been calling for the establishment of the "America First Fund" (irony intended) in which we put massive corporate fines, and the massive confiscations that are coming from the estates of treasonous pedophiles. The AAF will be the seed money for the social programs that we will develop for the next phase of America.

I'm tired of corporations ( and the government) doing terrible things, being fined, and instead of the fines going to the Cirizens that were hurt, they go to the government, who then hands out billion dollar government contracts to the same offending corporations. Instead, those sorts of fines will go to the America First Fund, and spent on programs that directly benefit the Citizens.

When the nightly news mentions the daily score for the Dow, NASDAQ, and S&P, for the wealthy, they'll also give the score for the AAF, and remind the wealthy that it is rising in great part because of fines on the bad behavior of their peers. That will remind them that they may keep their fortunes at the pleasure of the American people, and those same fines and confiscations could happen to them, if they operate their businesses to benefit their own profit-obsession, instead of operating their businesses to benefit the Citizens. If they can't handle their finances responsibly, the responsibility will be removed from them.

What in the hells planet are you on? His proclamations are taken more seriously, they effect more change, than any US president in history.

4

Hard to downplay the 'TDS' accusations when you post like this.

Hey guy, it's capitalism that's the problem. Trump is doing precisely what America does.

Just remember the only difference between him and previous leaders is PR or more specifically his lack of it.

and his random renaming of lakes and being on the island, and the tariffs

2

The lakes are the lack of PR, the rest are the same as previous administrations.
