In Australia.

And it means "only see what people they are following are posting", obviously there will still be an algorithm, just not a "for you" algorithm.

Hopefully they let you set it as the default. For example, Instagram technically has a chronological feed but you need to go through some menus first

And also it doesn't stick. If you close the app it resets.

If there's gonna be legislation, it should work the other way round. People should have to opt-in to anything other than chronological sorting, and they should have to do it every time they open the app or pull up the webpage.

so we can check that the "opt-out" works right? right fellas? We are going to be able to inspect the opt-out and if they are lying we will be able to sue them personally for not following the law.

sick of these rubbish govt laws that are designed to look good in the headlines but have no action and defiantly no consequences.

probably should focus on giving the same businesses our water, our electricity in a fast track because we have too much electricity and too much water in this country.

Hey, they have to fast track their corporate jobs after government.

How are they gonna afford their politicians lifestyle after they're put on a pension that's barely above the average persons pay?

Great thing about going from government to private sector is you can sell all your inside knowledge of how the laws you wrote work and sell those insights to lucrative clients like the mining industry, big tech and defence.

Cool and normal!
