Hey, how did western media depict Syria's fall?

"The topple of the Assad regime" Where Syria was "liberated" by putting an actual terrorist and Al-Qaeda and ISIS affiliate into power.

Suddenly, Syria is "free"! And Syria is allied with "Israel" and the west, where the French are now looking into extracting oil from the country. Suddenly, Syria is no longer in the list of "countries who sponsor terrorism". How fucking weird??

Right, or how did the western media cover the genocide in Palestine? That's right, they fucking didn't and downplayed all of it for years. They aren't even covering the current ethnic cleansing happening in Lebanon either.

Meanwhile tass for example, actually did cover this. And you lot are frothing at the mouth, even saying that a journalist that was almost killed by an airstrike from "Israel" to have deserved it, just because of the news being from Russia....

Here's what the western media on Ukraine is like:

Syria was "liberated" by Syrians...not some foreign invasion.

You know that's not actually how any of this works, right? If anyone in those regions wants to become a Russian citizen, they have every right to apply for immigration and move there...but they don't get to take the land with them.

Especially not at gunpoint, with the backing of a foreign invasion force.

you mean how the us has been bullying russia and backed a coup in ukraine to make it happen?

yeah, something like that.

Actually as the people who live on that land they do get a greater say in what happens to it
