Lower rise jorts! Finally

And when I get the angle, distance and pose correctly, I look...kinda okay? I need some opinions on this

Also, this is a terrible matchup ๐Ÿ˜ญ
Jorts and a super long T-Shirt. I'm so dumb...

Please, greater powers, give me hips and a butt ๐Ÿ™
Just give me a lower body half as good as my mom's, I'm begging you ๐Ÿ˜ญ

You look great! Actual waist envy over here.
I'm sure you know that wearing the shorts up to your waist instead of at your hips will generally be more flattering, but this is a good look for you as well. I don't know how old you are, but assuming you are post-puberty, your pelvis/hip bones won't widen from hrt - any width you gain will be from fat redistribution.
Also, long sleeve shirts and shorts are the official uniform of the American Midwest. I see women dressed this way all the time in the transition between warmer and colder months.

Damn. That's depressing. Especially with how narrowly I missed the window. Not really, because I started at the tail end of 19, but still, I do feel kinda bad.

Thanks for your kind words anyway ๐Ÿ’œ

I'd love to believe that, I really would...
But I've just heard so many conflicting reports.

  • Some people say hip bones are completely fused by 25, so they can widen until then.
  • Others say that once puberty is done, no widening or really any bone structure change is possible.
  • And some people anecdotally report their actual hip bones widening way past 25, even starting HRT past 30.

While I'd love to be optimistic...I think that if I expect zero change, I at least won't be too disappointed.
Thanks for your kindness, tho โค๏ธ

I am a quadrogenarian who only just began their new chapter as an open transfem person, and all I wish I could tell you in a way that would connect is: Fuck all the fuckers. You're beautiful and you matter. And both your voice and your perspective are appreciated. I'm sure I'm not just speaking on my own behalf even just within the Lemmy bubble, but I share it so it's at least voiced.

I am. 6 months. It's just that I'm scared of the fat going to the wrong places.

Definitely should tho. Thanks ๐Ÿ–ค

as someone who was underweight for a very long time, all the weight I've gained recently has gone where I want it! all I do for exercise is a bike ride a few times a week and my general walking around for work/life in general :3 trust the process!
