The imported "beef":
It's actually tainted beef from Argentina that China rejected a few months ago. It's got an antibiotic in it that will give you cancer and/or aplastic anemia.

The ranchers are just making noise so they get handouts. You can pretty well guarantee the large ranches will get massive bailouts, while the small ranchers are left hanging
Consumers will temporarily get cheaper beef, but we'll be paying the interest on that loan for a long time
Aren't you precious. The beef will cost importers less but they're going to sell it to consumers at the same price as domestic beef.
