He was trained by the best. British intelligence
Context: So this is a meme about Operation Tracer. During WWII, the British were worried Germany might capture Gibraltar. So they built a secret cave inside the Rock and picked six men, including a surgeon, to be sealed inside it if the worst happened. They'd stay down there for up to seven years, reporting enemy ship movements by radio. The plan never actually had to be used, and the cave stayed hidden until it was found in 1997. Basically real life Vault-Tec, minus the radioactive wasteland.

Good work providing good context
"Finn McMissile, British Intelligence"
I wonder if that cave still exists and one can go on an excursion.
It still exists and I saw a video of a Youtuber going in there. But it’s not too much to see there. Most of the stuff is rotted out.
British intelligence during WW2 was second to none. They were all geniuses who were also a bit crazy.
Did they not know you could triangulate radio signals while making this plan?
I guess there was a chance the Germans wouldn't notice the signal but lots of radio receivers were going past that point even back then.
Part of the plan was to transmit in bursts once per day, and I think they would also stagger the transmission times.
It was also a spot that was very difficult to actually find, even if you knew roughly where the signal was coming from.
Calum has an excellent video about this:

Awesome video. Thanks for posting.
i can highly recommend his other videos as well, he makes really well made videos on interesting subjects
I think they had some known about tunnels and in them some bricked off entrances to these places. Just an outlook and a concrete room with a hole in. Rough conditions even in peacetime.
