I don't like to view critics reviews about stuff I like. It just makes me sad if they say bad things about it and make it sound like they know what they are talking about.
So, the myth here is that a critic doesn't enjoy the subject they critique. These memes are pure propaganda, not even a shit post. They have clear aims.
Honestly I'm just thrilled when someone respects an album as a cohesive experience rather than selecting a vibe and just listening to whatever a platform decides to stream to you.

To me its more about the algorithm. I want to listen to my music, not listen to someone talk to me about my music, and the algorithm CAN NOT tell the two apart. My critique should really be with YT.
Ah it was with the recent Halsey album review “controversy”. He did refer to himself as such, but it was justified.

We just don't need to take his opinion as unarguable truth
Taking any critic's opinion as the truth is crazy. Do we really just not know what a review is? Sure they say whether they liked something or not, but the point is that they describe it well enough that you can make a more educated guess about whether you'll like something or not regardless of what their score is. He does a decent job of that.
Nothing against Fantano specifically, but art critic has to be one of the weirdest jobs. "I tell people my thoughts on stuff that other people have made."
