My moderator has been targeted by an unrelenting cyberbullying campaign, only so that I would come complain about it here and give free promotion to the abusers.
I'm a little bit tired of getting abused every time I come here to report abuse.

What do you mean? Im not sure what the screenshot is meant to show?
All it shows is that the guy gets between 1 and 3 downvotes on the posts in the image.
There's no other information presented there, certainly nothing that indicates any sort of coordinated campaign. We don't even see what users are doing the downvoting.
Personally, if I see a comment that adds nothing beyond "Thanks for making this." I'm 50/50 on downvoting it myself. What is that comment adding to the discussion specifically or the sub in general?

The circles highlight downclicks that are continuously propagated on all of my moderator's comments by the abusers. This is very bad for engagement inflation. Thank you for your support.

You will have to explain the victim blaming, I have in no way said they deserve a downvote campaign or it's their fault for it happening.
Thank you for your support. That is of course a valid question, but let me ask you this instead - if we do not stand up for those we admire, no matter the method of harm that is being done to them, how genuine is our admiration then.

I sort by New so votes genuinely don't effect what I see.
Downclicks are a valid form of engagement. They convey very specific emotions of the downclicker to the content creator. These could be dissatisfaction, anger, hunger, what have you. For the most part, they are much more valuable than upclicks. Upclicks are easy.
Weaponization of downlicks, like is shown in this here abuse report, drastically devalue other user's downclicks.
I'm still not seeing it, but that may be me because I don't see votes as having an inherit value when compared to a algorithm based feed.
They can cause psychological damage too.
As someone who has never gotten a single downvote here I thought the software was broken.

Total votes of that user. But the app breaks all the time so the numbers constantly get reset. Otherwise he'd (and every other Lemmy regular) have a way higher number.
I made the most upclicked content on lemmy, you better believe I should have a bigger number!!!!

That's pretty bad for upclick inflation. No wonder upclicks from blahaj users are only worth 0.3 of a sdf upclick.
That's a terrible conversion rate! I've synced my upclicks so they're now worth 5 standard upclicks, or 4.3 sdf upclicks

I'm pretty sure it's DonaldJMusk having a conniption fit. He started downvoting me with several of his alts after I pointed out an ebook reader obsessed account was his. I don't know what his fixaton with your mod or T00lshed is about though.

I don't know why, but it hurts to watch. He's a gentle soul and a wonderful artist who founded the largest lemmy community in the fediverse dedicated to original content creation. He does not deserve this.
