The other day someone posted a Pizzacake comic with a typical lukewarm, mass approved take and it was, as usual, shit on for being so lukewarm.
A few hours later a, IIRC, Dr. Lovenstein comic with the same exact lukewarm take was posted. No comments about it not being extreme enough, even tho plenty of the same users who shat on the Pizzacake comic were commenting on this other one with, again, the same exact message (right down to the phrasing).
I see that shit and it's hard not to believe the vitriol Pizzacake gets is entirely due to the fact the artist is a woman with an OnlyFans account.
I can't speak for others, but my dislike for her came after she threatened to sue the members of the subreddit ComedyNecrophelia out of the blue, after previously praising them and giving them the OK to use her comics in edits.
I'm not fond of the way she treated mens mental health on a reddit thread a few years ago and the (imo) bland art style. Though I don't downvote and just dont vote on her comics.
I didn't know she had an onlyfans account that's kinda cool
I don't get the complaining, sure some of the comics are only mildly amusing, but on the internet if something is not sufficiently amusing you can just go to the next thing, I don't get the whining
It's funny because Pizzacake's self-insert here bears striking resemblance to the character Ren from the 1990's cult classic, Emmy-nominated animated series from Nickelodeon, "Ren & Stimpy"
