Much love to the dragonkin community <3

I actually met My partner while healing a dragon with magic

Actually, I've said that sentence many times. It's a story I often tell at parties.

I used to be close with a dragon named xe, and xis human alter, Henk. At one time, their headspace was filled with a corrosive black fog that killed anything that stepped foot in it. As a wizard, I know that physical problems in headspace are often representations of psychosocial problems, so I asked some questions. Turned out the fog was a metaphor for the guilt Henk felt for hurting Xe in the past. I knew therefore that the antidote would be forgiveness from xe. But how does a feral-form, non-sapient, barely-verbal dragon express forgiveness?

I shapeshifted into a dragon of the same kind as xe and breathed fire on the fog. My fire did nothing. But xe took the cue, stood up, and added xis own fire. And Xe's fire burned the fog away, until it was all gone. A sharkplane named Ivy happened to be watching, and fell in love with Me on the spot.

I am no where near drunk, high or sleepy enough to make it though this. I'ma need a six pack at a minimum.

Aww, you did a good thing! Thanks for sharing.

Seems like knowing a wizard comes in handy.

That's why I firmly believe everyone should learn magic. Magic is an essential skill, like changing a tire. Right now, most wizards are employed by the Epstein class, and we call them publicists. They use images inscribed with symbols to change our perceptions and rewrite reality. Which sucks, because they always rewrite reality to be more capitalist. The working class needs to take magic back from the Epstein class.

Ah. Kobolds always wanting to be dragons.

That comic is so old I remember seeing it before I transitioned. Glad to see it's still going around

I heard this was the post that started it:

That's my upload limit.

I don't know why there are lot's of trans spidey memes atm, and at this point I am too afraid to ask... 👉 👈

13

Spider trans, spider trans
Does whatever while being trans!
Spins a web, any size
Fixes bugs in thigh highs

6

So there's a lot of posts or art that try to reframe villians as being pro-trans, usually to the effect of "we're not that messed up" even when it's entirely possible that they would be that messed up.

So I really appreciate that Sauron doesn't make an exception for trans people here. "Transition? Sure, how about you transition into the Mesozoic Era Spiderman!!"

Maybe you can help Me understand it better. I like the top half with Dr Strange, but I don't understand the context around Robo Gobbo's reply.

(If it's Brand New Day spoilers, please don't explain it)

It's a reference to an Xmen comic where Jean Grey accidentally outs Iceman.

Similarly I also don’t recognize the bottom panel, just thought the top half was funny.

This makes two. I've seen more than enough of them, thanks.

I'm good. Not sure why the internet suddenly has this fetish for the moment, but they come and go.

Taking a break from my fetish for cis people is all.

Of course. Someone rolls their eyes at the sudden trans spiderman memery and so they must be a terrible person. How exhausting.

I'm not sure why you felt the need to comment at all now that you mention it, but moreso I take issue with calling it a "fetish," just because a character is imagined with a different identity.

I used the word fetish because it's an accurate use of the word. Like many words fetish has multiple meanings. In this instance trans Spiderman thing is a fixation on both the character and it's gender.

-3

That's still not a fetish in any sense of the word. It's literally just (SFW) fanart and comics imagining funny or relatable scenes. A lot of it is just imagining J Jonah Jameson reacting to it.

Calling it a fetish says way more about you than anything else. Trans people existing is not a fetish.

False, I'm pretty sure the DNA stays the same, regardless of whether the organism grows up to be male or female.

*Except for the Y chromosome. You'd have to somehow insert these genes and get them to be expressed

Seems they mostly have to do with development of testicles

7

If you're rewriting DNA to make people into dinosaurs, then changing a Y chromosome to an X chromosome and making the changes express themselves seems downright simple by comparison.

13

also dinosaurs/reptiles generally dont use the XY system like mammals do. they have a ZW system to determine sex, and for some its temperature based. ZZ for male birds, and ZW for female birds(ZW means 2 different chromosones, and ZZ is too similar ones). birds, reptile, seems more complicated than the mammal system. the closest in between would be monotreme xy , they behave more like ZW eventhough they have 10sex chromosomes.
