To be clear, it's not librarians doing this. It's administration.
Salt Lake City and Boise both made the pride flag the official city flag during pride month to get around new state restrictions on flying it.

That’s just one of uninstall examples. Most the wars of Rome prior to ~300 were also not about Christianity. All of the Greek city states, too. The Assyrian wars. Babylonian, Persian.
All of these were empires that predated Christianity… some by thousands of years.
