Speaking as a cis man failing masculine social norms is a fucking super power. Being whoever you are though is a super power plus. Like an ultra power. So be Ultra-girl or Ultra-man double fuck social norms.

I don't like to think of it as "failing masculine social norms." I like to think of it as recognizing that those norms are fucking stupid and choosing to do my own superior thing 😎 blows my mind that people would seriously look at the state of the world today and think "oh yeah the status quo rn is great, I'd better defend it."

What do you mean this isn't manly? I'm a man and I'm doing it?

If you think about it, only a man can fail masculine social norms

The guy at the BBQ store got mad at my dad for wanting a cheaper BBQ, and said "well come back when you want a MAN'S barbecue!" and my dad was just so flabbergasted he never went back.

Like a reverse Hank Hill.

Poor bastard probably has no idea why he never gets people coming back for an upgrade.

They'll claim certain things are for men and certain things are for women but then think being genderfluid is weird
