Chocolate bark, pepitas, and forgotten bananas bread.

This one comes together quick and easy, you don't want to over mix this. First grab two bowls and a bread pan.

In one of your mixing bowls combine;

4 tbsp of softened (but not melted) butter

4 tbsp vegetable oil

4 over ripened bananas

2 large eggs

2 tbsp vanilla

Handful of chopped chocolate and some nuts. How much and what kind is between you and your god.

Mine was some "s'mores bark", and the last of a bag of pumpkin seeds.

Mash and mix this.

In a separate bowl mix;

1 & 1/2 cup flour

1 tsp baking soda

3/4 cup sugar (I used a mix of brown, white, and molasses. But just brown or just white still works. Use what you got handy)

1 tsp salt

Healthy dash each of nutmeg(fresh microplaned really does make a difference), clove, allspice, and cinnamon.

Fold dry into wet gently 1/3 at a time.

And finally bake for an hour @ 350°F/177°C.

Let sit for an hour for the crumb to set. Slice and serve with butter or cream cheese. Or both, who am I to keep you from living your best life?

This banana bread recipe's name:

Sounds delicious though. Cool to see that I'm not the only one who makes banana bread in glassware. For a long time I kept cooking it on as low as a temp it would properly make on because I was afraid my stuff would shatter
