I've honestly had it with reddit.

So i admit i should've researched a bit, but i've used a service called redact to delete some old, embarrassing, and political comments.

Saw users use it years ago and thought i'd use it too since deleting each and every comment manually is a pain in the ass.

Just then i receive multiple bans on several different subreddits. Then a site wide ban for "spam".

Decided to delete it.

Weeks later i wanted to create an account again and they just ban every account i make.

Whoa slow down there buddy, editing your own comments? Reddit owns that content now. Think of the LLM training and the future quarterly returns from data contracts for Reddit.

That's the thing. I used the same program like 2-3 years ago and nothing happened.

I hate how arbitrary they apply their rules.

Also editing your Reddit comments is useless as it's widely known they keep edit history too.
