New setup
Yesterday i got a used rancilio Silvia with some tools for a good price. I want to convert it with a gaggimate. Someone has done something with some pid controller which I have not noticed. Had the hand mill for filter coffe already.
Last evening I experimented with cheap storbought decaf, and shock and horror. It was so dark roast and so old, that there were no notes other than "roasted".
This morning I tried some actually good coffee and it was nice for a first try.
Look a "flower"... My late art is lacking.

Your latte art is significantly better than mine. I tend to just freestyle fuck around and see what shape happens lol.

How many grams of coke do you usually measure onto that scale for a standard latte?
None. My coffe basket has a capacity of 15 grams, so I measure 15 grams of coffee.

I know this a more filter focussed grinder but the only one I have that is somewhat espresso capable.
But then again I like sour espresso.

I just gave away my old and basic Gaggia that I hadn’t even touched in years. Just because I’ve limited my coffee intake to one cup per day and that cup comes in the morning and it’s made on a V60.
