Recovering from a cold.

Today is the first time I've felt human in about a week!

Weird. Trying to get used to sleeping in my new house. Nothing feels like home yet. Hbu?

I really hate that feeling. It sort of feels like living in a liminal space for a few days.

That’s…exactly it. I couldn’t explain it. It’s getting better slowly.

Been an aggravating week. Had a seemingly small water leak, now within 5 days later I've talked to no less than 5 different contractors and 2 adjustors. Final schedule and cost still not in sight.

At least some will be covered, but what a disjointed mess of a process it's been.

A good week so far. Settling into a routine. Weather has been better than many are experiencing right now.

It’s been a tired week for me. Sooooo tired. But ok. This morning i was all stressed and felt behind. I did get some stuff done today and I’m feeling more at ease. Hopefully I have more energy for the weekend. Being tired is boring. I want to lift weights and do a sewing project and plant some flowers.

I'm still waiting for my 417 Working Holiday Visa to be approved, it's pretty much the final hurdle before I can move to Australia (for now at least).

It's been over a month since I've applied and boy, there's nothing like trying to escape the German bureaucratic hell-scape than waiting an eternity for your visa to be granted...

Went to a party over the weekend and around 10 of the people there were actively working on getting EU or Mexico dual citizenships. It was wild.

I'm truly beyond pissed at this point. Years of planning and effort to be stopped in my tracks by fucking bureaucracy again. I wanted to move in 2 and a half weeks but the way it's going that doesn't seem realistic

Are you doing everything yourself? Sometimes getting help can help move the process along.

I'm doing everything myself, mostly because none of my relatives are able or willing to help me.

I already lodged a formal complaint with the Department of Home Affairs, as my application is outside of standard processing times.

I meant like a service. It sounded like some who were getting duals used a paid service.

Oh I see, most of those are too expensive for what they offer imo. Besides, I don't think it would help much in this case.
