Holy shit, I had forgotten about Padmé's royal outfits, and how dumb they looked.
I thought they were beautiful.
I can see the artistic appeal of them, but personally I tend to look at practicality first and most of them were absolutely idiotic in that regard.

It's about 50/50. She spends most of the movie dressed as a handmaiden, but that's largely because the Tatooine sequence lasts so long.
