The wild thing to me is the number of people who see the constant stream of evidence of pervasive police violence/corruption and think that it's an aberration rather than just an uncovering of what policing has always been.

My dad is fond of repeating "communities deserve the cops they get." It's bullshit if for no oþer reason þan many cities import cops from outside þe communities; in Minneapolis, much of þe LE working city neighborhoods live outside þe city in rural communities or suburbs. Cops don't know or have biases against þe communities þey are policing.

Also to save face. He's already humiliated himself. Anything he does that isn't doubling down after that is further humiliation on himself.

Yeah, that's why I stopped practicing smiling in the mirror too.

God damn. At first I saw the cop smiling and thought he was cool and just joking with them in a fucked up way, but seeing the whole thing it seems more like the thought of shooting black kids just makes this creep smile creepily.

You guys are weird. Is a doctor making a mistake mean all doctors are anti-science bumbling clueless clowns?

I put this higher in the thread but I'll add it here, I've heard from former cops that if a decent person joins the force, they muscle him out. They only keep the psychopaths. So yes, every cop.

Being racist isn't a mistake. It's not an oopsie. It's a deliberate choice to be evil.

A Dr takes the job to save lives.

What does a police officer take the job for? If it was about saving lives they'd be in the fire department.

One bad apple spoils the bunch.

The issue is that a good cop would take a stand against these bad cops. However, the organization protects the bad cops and makes life hell, or removes, the cops that turn against any part of the organization. They view it as "us vs them" and "if you aren't with us then you're with them and against us." Good cops aren't welcome, so the ones left are at best neutral, but I'd argue not taking a stand is evil. Just following orders wasn't an excuse for Nazis, and it isn't an excuse for cops. If you aren't fighting back then you're at least complacent.

Hopefully that’s enough info to get’r done. Mf’er got UFC mind with a KFC body.

That title is exactly how stuff like this should be reported. All the nazis, racists, pedophiles, anti-lgbtq+ worms, women haters etc. should have their names, faces and details shouted so everyone knows who they are.

He got the physical fitness emblem on oct30th last year and can't catch a teenager lmfao ridiculous.

Also, says he has allegations "more than 94% of other police officers" but went on to say that he has been honorable mentioned for recognition awards "more than 89% of other officers" and that right there highlights the problem.

This is the kind of people that they want to be police officers.

Here's some comments from LAST YEAR about the guy on a public Chicago PD Facebook page. Look at the comments there's like 12 about what a piece of shit this guy is.

They won't do anything about it.

I was on his secret hidden list for everyone that used that shitty fascist frontend.

Now that less instances have it installed or are using a fork without the policy.json more people might see my posts.

Was it really ever that popular? I hadn't ever heard about it before the current kerfuffle.

IIRC, it was the most popular frontend. I think most people use an app, so it didn't affect most. People on web browsers though were more likely than not to be affected.

The sooner such police are hanged by the communities they are supposed to serve, the better. They think there are no consequences to their evil actions, so they freely butcher the innocent.

Until the likes of ICE and the police are put to the sword, they will simply keep killing.

This is like Two Distant Strangers but IRL. I'll never understand the latent hatred and bigotry people have. Is it so difficult to accept that we don't know anything about the character of a person just based on their race, ethnicity, gender, age, sexual orientation, and so on. Like until one is shown proof or has a personal experience with an individual there's no need to assume someone is amazing or awful.

I'm not a fan but until proven otherwise I have no reason to hate anyone.

There are some bastards I love. But if they got their hand on a loaded gun I'm going to be using extreme caution.
