It peaked at Big Hero 3, each sequel after that got worse and worse
Big Hero 8 was a decent attempt to bring it back. Well except for the ending and the botched marketing and, well, the thing. That probably had a lot to do why the next one took so long, skipped 9, and called it Big Hero X.
I thought you were parodying Fast & Furious for a moment and had to make sure they did in fact release 9. Also -- their OG plan was to release 10 and be done with it. I fucking knew they'd break the plan
