Just how polygons were the future of video games, and no one makes 2d and isometric games anymore, right?

I'm not going to take advice from a walking corpse who gave his cash cows away to Disney and China.

Also not going to take artistic advice from a guy who hasn't created anything in 50 years

He made a large sum at the time... But Disney has already made more than him with the IP

He’s just trying to get into the headlines because he’s old and irrelevant and hasn’t come up with a single creative thought in the past 35 years

The word AI is so tainted these days it's basically useless to make an argument in favor of it without specifying. In regards to making movies there are numerous tools that have already been using AI for ages and have amazing technologies on the horizon. Deepfakes and improving green screen and rotoscoping tools are some of these technologies that exist that make movie making immensely easier while saving time for the creative process. What the people hate is generative AI that is soulless and steals from everyone and provides us with a shell of what used to be. Generated videos, images, music, writing, voice acting, etc. All of these are the things that people love to do while the more tedious stuff gets automated.

Also, the fact that every corporation is threatening to fire us and replace us with AI with literally no incentive for the employee is probably making people even more resentful.

Deep neural networks for sure are the future .

What in the fuck are all these LLMs?!

Yeah, well, what the fuck does he of all people know about this? Is it just well known he has a compsci degree, because that's on me, or does he just think movies qualify him to have an opinion?
