Not really though. Your name doesn't get posted publicly if you get a speeding ticket. I think there should be a higher level of transparency with government officials, but listing every offence no matter how minor seems petty and wasteful. I think the 70 in a 40 person should deffo be named and shamed though, because that's kinda nuts.

For clarity: I don't condone speeding, and I think the reason for not revealing the names is pretty weak. I'm just saying that this is not a "rules for thee, not for me" situation.

Edit: Lol, I got some downvotes but no discussion. Too bad.

How does naming them reveal anything "sensitive?" It's not like the locations and time of day need be included - that I could see being considered too revealing for a current government figure.
