What if your pet was a mushroom the whole time?
So you know how some mushrooms can control brains of ants they attach to?
What if you found out your pet cat or birb was being controlled by one since one week before you adopted them?
Would you go get it removed or is it like the fungal hivemind is your pet now?

It would explain why he's such a fungi.
Reminds me of an episode of House md. A 17 year old girl finds Dr House really attractive, hits on him really hard and starts stalking him.
::: spoiler spoiler Turns out she had a parasite in her brain affecting her judgement. House cures her. :::

This is scientific impossible. Fungal cannot live inside mammal yet, because mammal body temperature so hot.
*Most fungi... Others can. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mucormycosis
Tell that to anyone who has had a yeast infection or other fungal disease.
The ones I’m aware of are on the outside of the body.

It's certainly less common but it happens. Can also have fungus in the lung-us or under the surface of the skin (fungus lives on plant thorns and is transferred when someone or something gets scratched).
Ignorance was bliss. Now I can’t unsee these horrors.
But i watch Pokémon. When your Paras evolve into Parasect, its still your Pokemon, still good.
