Beaver (fun with perspective)

From Jason Major

One of the creepiest-looking animals I've ever run across while out on the trails photographing has to be this--oh wait...no, it's just a picture of a very normal- looking swimming beaver turned sideways. ๐Ÿ˜‰

Have to admit though it creates a strange face with that reflection and rotated...sorry* for any nightmare fuel.

*kinda

Thatโ€™s some quality accidental eldrich horror you got going there!

It's a hunter who kills the prey by screeching at it and making its blood freeze.
The screech causes oscillation in the blood and the platelets start clotting as a result. The prey doesn't get far thereafter and can be feasted upon.

Like a kind of horse, but one that is a predator and has the eyes pointing forward.
Awesome!

Good call on the forward eyes. I think I'm throwing off by the lack of eyelashes. Eyes are def uncanny in the originally presented version.

That could be a hit at our clinic Halloween event... ๐Ÿค”

I thought it was some kind of not-a-horse coming through some tall wet grass at first.

Then I had to rotate the image and was trying to make sure I got the right end up!

I'm terribly sorry, mate; I've been owing you multiple replies since... well, for some weeks now.

You've been an absolute gem, and it's been a pleasure to enjoy all the cool stuff you've shared here. Eh, now did I bite off more than I could chew upon all that, haha?

Possibly! :D

I keep telling you, it's not a contest, friend! ๐Ÿ˜

I've enjoyed all of your participation, and it's not like you're forcing me to do something I didn't want to do.

My only issue is my algorithm mainly recommends me birds... and insects for some reason. I need more mammals, and maybe fish/sea life. Sea life would probably be good, as even though they are mostly commonplace ones, the Fed does have a lot of mammal comms.

You just keep doing your thing and have fun with it.

No! No, I don't think so, anon6789... Dogbone it, I was born insecure, and evidently no force on Errf will ever change that equation.

Lol this is strangely one of the few places I don't suffer from that!

As long as I stay away from the grumps talking politics, everyone is so friendly and supportive.

Aww, I think it still has cute ears in it's cryptid form of nothing else. ๐Ÿ˜‰
