Fuck that. I’d ask him to stop and then tell the flight attendant immediately if it doesn’t. If he wants a footrest, he’s welcome to purchase a second ticket for the seat in front of him.

I agree with you, but (as someone who's reconfigured the seating on a lot of airplanes) we gotta hold airlines accountable for the continued war on leg room.

As a tall person that must now pay extra for the privilege of not having to cut my legs off to fly comfortably, I appreciate having another soldier in the fight.

I have to pay for business class because I'm stupidly tall and even that was a little tight. Every time my wife wants me to fly internationally I avoid the conversation like the plague because I don't want to have to pay for first class.

This is the correct response.

Yes it's weird to take your shoes off and stretch out on a flight, but the real problem is the airlines being cheap motherfuckers.

Not a single open seat on the flight.

I was with my family, so I simply adopted a wide stance.

Not calling anybody a liar, but for me to be able to continue in society I'm telling myself this is staged.

Oh it wasn't staged.

I would say I don't know the guy, but given his foot poked and carressed my leg at various points during the flight, I would argue we are at some greater level of intimacy.

We missed that opportunity. I will now go my life wondering what could have been if I left my wife and kids, and started anew with the foot freak in seat 23A.

If you're going on down to Nashville looking for a sole to steal, look under your seat.
