You're still doing jars? Why not order from the manufacturer and get an IBC for over your bed?

You're right but delivery mechanism is less mess and feels less like you're a dumb fat chud animal

Cannot speak for the original commenter, but I am a stereotypical American, so this is a non-issue for me. 😉

I respectfully disagree.

At papa johns in colombia they have nutella rolls. They're basically garlic knots but instead of garlic they use nutella. They're amazing.

I had a Nutella croissant recently and that was pretty damn tasty too

Nutella is almost 80% sugar & palm oil. There's a reason it tastes great but is a health disaster.

Could be one, could be both, could be another factor in combination.
Me, as a middle-aged person who's worked on healthy eating habits for a long time, I do like to go back and sample stuff I liked as a younger person. And if certain stuff tastes good, I'll keep bags / containers of goodies around that I can have as occasional treats.

Enshitificacion (sp?) is definitely a thing, with a small group of owners owning the vast majority of brands like a monopoly, able to shave off quality from almost their entire line of products in order to squeeze out more quarterly profit.

That said, I still find certain stuff tasty. Dove chocolate bites, Werther's caramel candies, generic store-brand shortbread cookies, Lifesavers fruit candies. It may be that some stuff has such basic ingredients that it's hard to screw it up, I dunno.

I prefer my all natural 30% butter, 10% whole milk, 10% cocoa, 10% hazelnut, 40% cane sugar and honey, healthy alternative

Its not the ingredients necessarily, its the proportions

They came up with a vegan one that briefly didn't have palm oil and then changed it to palm oil.

Sounds like what's happened to many of the peanut butters, turning them into "peanut butter spread" (generally characterized by less than 90% peanuts and added oils).

I might be older that you...

I googled when they changed to palm oil and apparently they always used palm oil. I was wrong. they still changed the recipe in 2017 to make it cheaper, but it wasn't the palm oil.

Crepes is quite good but im lazy and mostly i just slather it on a tortilla, shout out to my mom who did this.

Pretzel roll with a lot of butter and a lot of nutella. I all seriousness thats peak performance.

I've always enjoyed it on honeyed brown rice cakes. There's something to be said for the textural contrast of crispy vs unctuous.

Not bad but I still say chocolate graham crackers is the best nutella combo.
