Haha okay, I’ll forewarn you that season 1 isn’t the best, especially the first few episodes which are mostly left over unused scripts from The Original Series and the canceled Phase II. It gets way better, though in my opinion DS9 is the high watermark of Trek. It might be fun for you to watch them in air date order, the first season of DS9 started during season 6 of TNG (in fact the episode we are talking about was part of the story genesis for DS9) and Voyager started during season 3 of DS9. It isn’t totally required but there are some overlapping plot elements in the background and some occasional crossover.

The feds say they've arrested several people, but with this administration I'm not inclined to believe them since they'd be plastering their names and faces everywhere if it were true.
