The leopards are equal opportunity face munchers.
The leopards were never bigoted in their diet.
An article just yesterday about conservative Muslims in Texas being shunned. And people like this is why we have Trump.
So much for being “one of the good ones”. They don’t need you as proof of them not being racist now that being racist is officially fine.
Somehow, some way I also get the sneaking sense somewhere in the back of my mind that the openly, abhorrently racist Reform Party might be involved in racist scapegoating from time to time.
It's not like they are voting en masse for Reform.
no, only the stupid ones
Turns out religion doesn't make people any more intelligent, who would have thunk it.
I find dbzero’s religion-pologia weird.
This is one of those instances.
Religion is a net positive, do you think wed be better off with more depressed cynical ppl running around having existential crisises and whining about how nothing matters, I wish I could've kept believing in religion, I would have more time to think about anything else, instead I get randomly upset at the lack of an afterlife.
As someone who grew up a Sikh and turned Athiest, I went from feeding people weekly, donating to causes, etc. to not caring about strangers, so sure it's a personal perspective, but religion is why sikhs feed so many people, don't believe in an afterlife but still believe in being a good person leading to rewards.
If you didn't read my Alternative Text, I guess you need help.
I go to my bloc’s canteen nearly everyday to feed people, house the homeless, mutual aid, and intersect, all without believing in anything than each other. You and I have our backs, and so does the Sikh community. You don't have to believe their lies to help each other. You can still mutual aid and solidify for the fact you are human, and as mammals we help each other out.
The people that believe in religion would crash out running around without morals since many of them only have them because of religion. "But if you don't believe in god, why do you not shit people with empathy would never do" They went to the same schools we did, watched the same media, yet they need religion for empathy, you think theyd be tolerable at all without it? People would be acting like the crossed.
Christopher Hitchens did a thing on that exact thing. How is it you can't have any morals sans a sky daddy?
I do hear the argument often and it's quite depressing.
Steve harvey talking about "moral barometer" too
You do not need religion to tribe with people. As mammals, we group to survive. Morality is what you and your tribe decide are wrongs and rights. Religion need not exist.
Empathy is a discipline that requires praxis. Not everyone grows empathy, and we need to intersect.
Sorry but you just seem kind of dumb. Not reality’s fault
Well duh, the far right are historically against universal healthcare. Just wouldn't make sense to be unwell and vote for them.
Ok, do I leave now, or wait for the admins to ban me...
As a dad....i support this post.
But have their beleifs and values changed? Or do they just not think the right will further those interests anymore?
