There's jokes in old movies about cops looking up license plates and looking through databases of people they shouldn't be all the time. I'm sure it's been going on the whole time they just have better toys now. unsettling.
More than just better toys, they have toys with a mandatory audit trail, which is new and surprising to them.
It's like when you see a Boomer claiming they didn't say something on TV, when it's 2026 and everything is digitally stored, unlike in the old days.

Jerboa (Android) seems to also have difficulties. I find a lot of videos across Lemmy have trouble loading. Again, maybe that's Jerboa.
It's the client you're using. It displays correctly on LemmyUI.
Seeing it fine on an iOS app Mlem, so their issue is definitely client based.

Well at least they're being arrested for it.
But probably not losing their jobs or getting hired in another state...
