It has now been several hours since I spoke with Gam Gam about the banana water and she's still quite pissed off about this. Right now she's pacing back and forth, muttering about "peasant slop" and saying "back in my day, banana peels and quarts of hot water were ALWAYS in a 1:1 ratio" and also "I don't know what's going on with this country, WE'RE COOKED FAM" and "kids these days wouldn't recognize a proper hot banana water even if it CRAWLED UP THEIR ASSHOLE AND DIED THERE".
Look, if someone told me this was good I don't have the hubris to tell them they're wrong without trying it.
This takes so little effort it's almost worth trying on a whim when making banana bread or something.
If this is as horrible as the other reviews imply I'm gonna be a little mad because I'll feel like they trolled me. I will leave a review to express this.

Where do you think she got the recipe from?
I think I remember a similar recipe from The Anarchists Cookbook. Believe it was called "Banandine".
