Moor Hen Family @ Wells Palace & Gardens
Was at Wells Palace & Gardens when I came across this adorable family of Moor Hens with the tinest chicks I have seen yet. Been collectively raised with about five adults.
Took with my Fuji XT50 & 50-140mm as I wasnt expecting to need my Tamron, hence the shots not as sharp as I would like.
Adorable.
So I have a question. That brown patch below the ducks – is that natural, or is that what sewage pollution looks like?
Its natural, unlikely to have poo in a small pond, its some sort of pond weed as all the ponds here had it in abundance.
