I purchased alarm music for my phone for €0.50 today

This wasn't pre-planned; I did not think I was in the market for alarm music. I just heard a track when exploring more of an artist's work that I'd heard from Geometry Dash (they're the musician behind Stereo Madness [and Stereo Madness 2, which imo is even better]), and it immediately struck me as solid alarm music.

It feels like 2006 again.

I used the Audacity fork Tenacity to make a friend an infinitely looping version of the Gerudo Valley theme for his morning alarm. Apparently it works really well for him.

It's a shame Kanye became... well, Kanye, because I used to use Feedback as my morning alarm for years. It was great, like it was made for it.

Ayy, ya heard about the good news?

Y'all sleeping on me, huh? Had a good snooze?

Wake up, n***a, wake up

We 'bout to get this paper

Complete with ear-piercing mic feedback noise.

I changed it back to a default alarm noise several years ago. Shame, that.

I always liked the William Tell Overture from the beginning. Starts low key and peaceful and then WAKEUPANDGETOUTOFBEDGETGOINGNOWNOWNOW.
