Anyone that failed to tell him what a good boy he was and how everything he did was good and special would be "banished to the Cornfield." The similarities are disturbing.

It is normal when falling asleep sitting down to close your eyes open them and close them again. We've all been that tired at least once. When one is actually wakeful you blink your don't close your eyes for seconds at a time and you make active motions like looking around when different people are speaking or shifting.
