This gerrymandering antagonism is just cementing these seats for "moderate" dems. It's a real shit show.

They act like it's still the 90s cause that's when half of them started their job in the government. They don't know how to function in this space

What are the arguments against term limits?

A few days later, a group of Indiana lawmakers who rejected the president’s push to redistrict the state lost their primaries, demonstrating Trump’s continuing hold over the Republican base

Shouldn't listen to anyone who doesn't understand that...

Those races were insanely close while being low turnout, and trump still didn't replace enough to change the vote on it

He's pissed off a bunch of old-school Republican voters who are tired of his shit, and they're likely to stay home.

Swapping out decades of experienced shit again who knew how to abuse the system for a couple of chucklefucks that blindly agree with trump will backfire in the general.

I habitually overestimate people, but this is as clear as day...

Journalists (at least, out of everyone) should be noticing that

The Democrats get the voters they advocate.

Soft Democrats get voters who are soft on Republicans. "I'm sure Trump won't be so bad this time."

Hard Democrats get voters who are ready to put the hurt on humanity's enemies. "I'm voting for a 24/7 live cam of Trump in a dark, cold cell."

It's not about voters. The party will protect those who bring in donations. It's the Capitalist prerogative. Democracy's limits end where Cpaitalism's profit motive starts. Self-interest is king.

Just look at how those donors stopped AOC and Omar and Mandami! Or how they saved Biden from those nasty 4% of primary voters who showed up to vote "not him, please."

Gee golly maybe we should be gentle and take decades to primary them.

The US contains the weakest people on the planet.
