I'm extra hamstrung because in psychiatry you take that existing average American reading level and apply it to someone who's also either panicked, pissed off, grieving, or preoccupied with a hallucination, delusion, or compulsion. I got a compliment the other day though for explaining why a drug level needed to be drawn at a specific time relative to the next dose so! <3
