Goons infecting my Star Trek! What's so sexy about this image?

From the very first scene in the original pilot, no less.

That they managed to cast someone so similarly chiseled for modern Pike is ridiculous.

Star Trek has always been as horny and profane as its audience and medium has allowed.

TNG did seem to be alot edgier in the first season, the blond chick telling people casually about how she had to hide from the rape-gangs on her home planet.

Sometimes more overt than other times. Rick Berman’s career could best be described as “saying the quiet part out loud”.

I don't think a lot of newer or more casual fans understand that Roddenberry's opinions on sex were "yes please" and he surrounded himself with like-minded people.

Idk from the zeitgeist outside of the fandom the trope is Kirk screwing green aliens so I thought it was embedded in the perception of the show for people by now

1

Honestly it's amusing THAT is what Kirk is known for, Spock did more flirting and wooing of ladies in TOS than Kirk did, and Kirk only did it when it was in service to his current mission.

2

Gene Roddenberry wrote MULTIPLE episodes that amount to wank material, both in TOS and TNG.

This isn't a surprise in the slightest.

And sexy space drow, sexy space orcs, sexy space tieflings if you squint at Andorians hard enough. Bajorans might be halflings, require further research.

the self proclaimed terrorists are hobbits.

Man two towers would have gone WAAAY different had Merry and Pippin demonstrated their fondness of explosives for the Ents.

2

It's full of humans, the only species on our planet that says the answer to 'shall we have sex?' can be 'No.'

6

I mean this in the most sincere way possible - art needs horniness, entertainment need horniness, the world needs horniness.

You reached the end
