Curious question about coming back to Lemmy.world
I came here over 2 years ago and life got crazy and I stepped away from all social media. I came back yesterday and began reading and commenting and was banned from the community because of my 2 years of absence. I was told the only reason I came back was to troll. So with that said, are we not allowed to come back under our old accounts after a certain period of time or is this more of an issue when you have a differing opinion? Looking for guidance.

"Reading and commenting" was two comments defending the cop who killed Renee Good, and saying she deserved it and was trying to kill the Icicle who murdered her...

Point is everyone can see in the modlog that you clearly came back to troll.
We don't take too kindly to fascists 'round here.
There are no rules here.
It's all just people doing what they think is right at the time.
Start a new account someplace. Who cares.
If you start saying some stupid shirt again, you'll just get banned again. No harm no fowl.
