Oh yeah, I'll raise you a "tells you it sent your email but actually stripped the to header from the email and disappeared them into the motherfucking void, causing a major argument at work from the one person who swears they sent those 16 super very important emails that had to go out by a set time period and the other person who didn't fucking receive them and me caught in the middle finding them having been sent into the dark hole of non-existence".

Aye, The Slop strikes again. I'm sorry it happened to you though.

I don't seem to get this format, can someone translate?

Outlook on web frequently asks you to sign in but when one completes the 2 factor authentication, it signs you out and one has to click on sign in again and enter password and OTP again to be able to sign in.

From work I have "cloud" Outlook and teams, between a phone and a laptop. Plus, at the moment I have access to another Teams and SharePoint server from a client.

It is a major pain in the arse, with 2FA from two different providers. Also, Teams has to be switched over manually for some stupid reason.

I've seen a bunch of mêmes about this now, did Microsoft fuck up Outlook with a new release or something?

It's the online Outlook that's sloppy. It asks you to sign in and after accepting password and OTP, signs you out! It's frustrating to be asked for 2 factor authentication just to be signed out.

As far as I know, all ms programs have done this since forever if you've got a signed out tab anywhere. Still slop, just not genai slop.

That said, it's definitely possible they fucked something new up too.

It's been like this for quite a while (6 months?).
What's confusing is that outlook is the only app from their suite that does this.

I click [keep me logged in], because I have issues, and received [you have been logged out]

Double you tee eff Microslop?
