Claude/anthropic had a massive leak of their source code yesterday. Part of it was it was found that they have been working on a tomagotchi style AI pet.
Seems to just be a meme like the void cat frenzy a while back -- that is, people posting their pet photos with a title saying it isn't AI -- and more and more people just keep piling on. :p

I replied to that post with my post mentioning it not being AI, so I think you're right
Organic puppers, non ai Khajiit, who knows where or how things started but will likely end with moth priests reading scrolls under lamps.
I pretty much block anything relating to AI, so I have no idea what you're talking about
