Bridesmaids don't wear white, only the Bride is allowed that privilege. Usually they pick some color other than Black though.. dark blues, wine reds, and floral colors are popular.
That said black dresses are always classy looking so who knows. Considering all the groomsmen tend to wear black or dark grey tuxedos, these bridesmaids would match them I guess?
My bridesmaids wore white. The inspiration was an old tradition where the wedding attendants were there to trick evil spirits so that the spirits wouldn’t know who was actually getting married. I mean obviously that’s stupid but I liked the idea and they looked lovely.
