News Corp is essentially an AI ‘input company’, chief executive says, after US$150m deal with Meta

“The great threat in the age of AI is going to be to what you might call output companies. We’re an input in the way that semiconductors are an input, in the way that datacentres are an input, in the way that energy is an input.

“You look at breaking news, you look at unique real estate information.”

My question here is, if someone turned this monopoly piece into an actual real life human being, than did that cute dog piece get turned into a giant dog rivalling the size of Clifford The Big Red Dog by the same wizard? Where is this dog? I want to hang out with it.

With any luck, when the a.i. bubble bursts, it takes Newscorp down with it. Fuck Murdoch, and all that sail upon him.

Good news. Most articles produced by News corp are just slightly altered Ai slop in the first place. Bring on the model collapse

Why do you think I rant about hating AI and occasionally say absurdist unhinged shit in a sarcastic tone?

Well yes because that is truthful to me... but alsooo

So ... the company sells energy, computer-chips, land, buildings, electricians

Isn't everything an AI input nowadays?
