Oh.....I thought with the source code leaking, it meant people could sign their own modified versions of minecraft.

If it's just "lets you play", I don't see what's any different about this vs 2012 just downloading it from the PS store.

Unless I'm misunderstanding what you are referring to by signing:

FWIW, A source code leak would not typically also include signing keys unless explicitly included. At any large org, there is a good chance only a handful of people will have access to a given signing key. So it's unlikely the method by which the code was accessed, would also provide access to signing keys

The original PS3 version of Minecraft was so good. Is one of those games that you loved even though you don't know why.
